CEREMONY ON OCCASION OF OPENING OF RENOVATED ROOM OF TEACHING BUILDING OF ACADEMY OF CRIMINALISTIC AND POLICE STUDIES
At the invitation of the Academy of Criminalistic and Police Studies in Belgrade, SMAC Director, Mr Bojan Glamočlija, attended the ceremonial opening of the renovated room in the teaching building of the Academy of Criminalistic and Police Studies, on June 27, 2023.
The ceremony was attended by Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Mr Bratislav Gašić with associates, envoy of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Security adviser to the Minister Mr Milorad Veljović, as well as US Ambassador to Serbia H.E. Christopher Hill.
During the ceremony, US ambassador to Serbia, H.E. Christopher Hill and rector Prof. Dr. Zoran Đurđević signed the Donation Agreement, based on which the funds for the renovation were provided through the International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP).
It was emphasized that this event is the result of hard work, but also an example of strong, unique and long-term cooperation and partnership between Serbia and the United States of America.
With gratitude for continuous donations aimed at strengthening capacity and improving working and education conditions at this institution, rector Prof. Dr. Zoran Đurđević presented a certificate of appreciation and an appropriate gift to US Ambassador to Serbia H.E. Christopher Hill. Rector Prof. Dr. Zoran Đurđević presented a certificate of appreciation and an appropriate gift to Minister of Internal Affairs Mr Bratislav Gašić, as a token of gratitude for his wholehearted support of the teaching activities of the Academy of Criminalistic and Police Studies.
