LECTURE BY ITALIAN AMBASSADOR WITHIN FRAMEWORK OF TRAINING PROGRAM FOR STATE AUTHORITIES EXECUTIVES– BECOMING EU MEMBERSHIP
On May 24, 2023, at the invitation of the National Academy for Public Administration, as part of the training program for state authorities executives - the Honeycomb module "Becoming the EU member", a project funded by the EU with the aim of strengthening the professional capacities of senior civil servants in the Republic of Serbia, Ambassador of Italy H.E. Luka Gori, gave a lecture and talked to the participants of this training.
SMAC was represented by Assistant Director, Ms Tijana Cvetković, who together with the executives from different institutions, had the opportunity to hear from the Ambassador about the cooperation between Serbia and Italy, especially in the economic sector, as well as about all the benefits that both countries have from the cooperation.
The Ambassador spoke about the priorities for the countries of the Western Balkans in the negotiation process, and the first priority listed was safety as the basis for the security of all citizens and further development.
Apart from the Ambassador, Dragana Filipović, NAPA certified trainer and former Ambassador, as well as Zoran Milosavljević, program coordinator of the project, spoke on this occasion.
It is planned that in the coming period, the trainees visit the institutions in Brussels and get acquainted with the work and mode of functioning of the EU administration.
