Participation of the Mine Action Centre in the demonstration of the capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces "GRANITE" 2023
On April 22, 2023, at the invitation of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia, the director of the Mine Action Center, Mr. Bojan Glamočlija, attended the "GRANITE 2023" demonstration of the capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The "Granite 2023" demonstration of the capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces was held at the Military Airfield "Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović" in Batajnica. The Serbian Armed Forces presented the new equipment and skills of its members, and more than 5,000 soldiers with 2,300 assets participated.
This event was attended by the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces and the President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Miloš Vučević and the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović.
Among the guests were the President of the Government of Hungary Viktor Orban, the President of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željka Cvijanović, the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik, the Minister of Defense of Hungary Kristof Salaj Bobrovničski, the President of the National Assembly of Serbia Vladimir Orlić and the President of the Government of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabić.
Commander-in-Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces assessed the display of capabilities as "very good" and congratulated all members of the Serbian Armed Forces on the Day of the Serbian Armed Forces and pointed out that this day is commemorated in memory of the beginning of the Second Serbian Uprising, which established modern Serbian statehood in the true sense of the word.
The visitors had the opportunity to see the most modern weapons and military equipment with which the units of the Serbian Armed Forces are equipped, as well as part of the funds from the development of domestic defense industry enterprises. On the stand of the Batajnica military airport, anti-aircraft systems and means, radars, tanks, armored combat vehicles, artillery tools and systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, then small arms, optoelectronic means, modern protective, ballistic and camouflage equipment, as well as equipment for specific tasks. In terms of scope and content, it was the largest display of weapons and military equipment in our country so far.
