Signed Memorandum of Cooperation with the Diving Safety Management Service ltd. in the field of mine action
On the 13th April 2023, in the premises of the Mine Action Centre of the Republic of Serbia, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with the Diving Safety Management Service in the field of mine action.
On behalf of the Mine Action Centre, the Memorandum was signed by the director, Mr. Bojan Glamočlija, and on behalf of the Diving Safety Management Service ltd., diving technical specialist Mr. Tony Greenwood.
The Memorandum envisages the improvement of mutual development cooperation in the field of mine action, among other things, in the matter of providing technical assistance to the Mine Action Centre of the Republic of Serbia, as support for humanitarian demining.
The signing of the Memorandum was preceded by the workshop "Potential for the development and improvement of the commercial diving sector in Serbia", held on February 3, 2023, organized by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, as a unique opportunity where all actors in underwater demining in the Republic of Serbia gathered.
