CELEBRATION OF THE FIFTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE WORK OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

On March 21, 2023, at the invitation of the National Academy for Public Administration, the director of the Mine Action Centre of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Bojan Glamoclija, attended the celebration of the five-year anniversary of the National Academy of Public Administration.

The event was attended by Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Aleksandar Martinovic, Minister without Portfolio Djordje Milicevic, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of Serbia H.E. Annika Ben David, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia H.E. Damjan Bergant, mayors and high representatives of international partner organizations, as well as associates and friends of the Academy.

Dejan Miletic, acting director of National Academy for Public Administration, emphasized that 65,000 trained public administration employees is a significant result of the Academy. He also pointed out that the Academy's plans are big, they include the application of artificial intelligence tools in the professional development of officials, while the ultimate goal is the empowerment and professionalization of officials for administration tailored to citizens.

Aleksandar Martinovic, Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, stated that with the establishment of the Academy, for the first time, the success of reforms in various spheres of society began to be measured by the level of knowledge and skills of the employees who are the bearers of those reforms.

At the ceremony, awards were also given to institutions and individuals who, with their commitment and continuous support, contributed to positioning National Academy for Public Administration in its five years of existence as one of the leading institutions for professional development of public administration employees in Europe.
