Initial Workshop Aimed to Institutionalize CAF Model Held
On February 27 - 28, 2023, an introductory workshop was held aimed to institutionalize the CAF quality management model in the Serbian Mine Action Centre.
CAF - Common Assessment Framework is a quality management system for public administration institutions based on which employees and managers assess their own organization, determine their strengths and potential for improvement, and then apply measures toward improvement.
The CAF expert team consisted of Tihana Puzić, Goran Paštrović and Vladimir Jevtić, while the trainees were members of the self-assessment working group from the SMAC.
During a two day workshop, through theoretical lectures and exercises in groups, the trainees gained basic knowledge about quality management in public administration, the use of CAF, its structure, roles, processes and scoring, as well as about the self-assessment questionnaire.
After the workshop, the participants approach the self-assessment of the institution using a questionnaire, which is the basis for the development of an action plan for improvement, which will be the subject of the next workshop.
