INTRODUCTION INTO WORKS FOR „ISTOČNI - MOJSTIR“ PROJECT IN TUTIN
Implementation of Technical Survey Project for the “Istočni Mojstir – Ponor” site, Municipality of Tutin, total area 515.000 sqm, commenced on the 9th October 2020, with the introduction of a selected contractor into works.
Technical survey project aimed to confirm or reject the suspicion of the area being contaminated with cluster munitions and other explosive remnants of war (ERW), and to determine the area to be cleared, has been developed by Serbian Mine Action Center that will monitor the implementation and perform quality control over the works.
Funds for the implementation of this project have been provided, through ITF Enhancing Human Security, by donation from the U.S.
The contractor is NGO Stop Mines, Pale, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Company “Trotil” d.o.o., Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, has been employed by ITF and the donor as a monitoring organization on this project.
