Completion of Jugovićevo-3 project
in Novi Sad
Оn 15 September 2020, with the final control conducted by the SMAC, the implementation of Project for Clearance of Explosive Remnants of War from the Jugovićevo - 3 Site, No. 0220/19, City of Novi Sad, was completed.
Millennium Team, аs a Contractor, and “VJR” Razminiranje, as а subcontractor performed clearance works.
During the implementation of the works, combined methods have been used: mechanical demining by the use of a MV-10 remote controlled demining machine, as well as manual detection (manual method). Also, data logger recording (active and passive methods) has been conducted, as well as magnetometric recording.
36 concrete air bombs were found, which the contractor destroyed on situ by an armored machine, since they did not contain explosive.
This Project has been financed by investor City Administration for construction land and investments, Novi Sad, within the implementation of the Project of construction of apartments for members of security forces in Novi Sad and the construction of public services facilities, athletic complex and pump station.
Completion of ERW clearance from this site has created conditions for safe construction of public services facilities, athletic complex and pump station.
