Refresher Training in Sjenica
In the period 18-19 June 2020, employees of the Mine Action Center of the Republic of Serbia, within the implementation of the project for cluster munitions clearance from "Sjenica-Vapa 1" location, Sjenica Municipality, attended refresher training "Quality Assurance and Quality Control on Humanitarian Demining Projects, with an emphasis on Cluster Munitions Clearance - Positive Practice".
The organizer and Implementer of the refresher training was Association "STOP Mines", Pale, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. One of the lecturers was Branislav Krljaš, from the Bosnia and Herzegovina Mine Action Centre - Sector for Operations, an expert with many years of experience in quality assurance and quality control.
The main goal of the training was to get acquainted with the positive practices adopted in humanitarian demining projects in the region of Southeast Europe (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Northern Macedonia), with records and reporting, internal and external quality assurance and quality control, security measures and protective equipment, arrangement of a work site, work in work lanes, demining accidents.
