PARTICIPATION AT 23RD INTERNATIONAL MEETING OF MINE ACTION NATIONAL PROGRAMME DIRECTORS AND UNITED NATIONS ADVISORS IN GENEVA
In the period 11-14 February 2020, at the United Nations Office in Geneva, Switzerland, representatives of the Mine Action Centre of the Republic of Serbia participated at the 23rd International Meeting of Mine Action National Programme Directors and United Nations Advisors.
The meeting was organized by the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) and the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD).
Mine action stakeholders had the opportunity to present the achieved results and the challenges they were facing, as well as to exchange experiences on the evolution of mine action in the previous period. In addition, to offer solutions, as well as commitments and actions that impose and that, as an ultimate goal, could help solve mine problems around the world.
