Meeting with a representative of the International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO)
On the 25th October 2019, in the premises of the Serbian Mine Action Centre (SMAC), Director of SMAC, Mr. Bojan Glamočlija, met with the Deputy Secretary General of the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO), Mr Andrey Kudinov, to discuss the modalities of future cooperation between our two organizations, as well as the continuation of the program of assistance of the Russian Federation to our country in the area of humanitarian demining, which is expected to continue soon and will comprise two projects.
ICDO promotes the work of civil protection services around the world and points out to the importance of their cooperation and the need for solidarity in jointly combating dangers posed to population, material goods and the environment..
As a reminder, the Republic of Serbia became a member of the International Civil Defense Organization in May 2019.
