Introduction into works on Jugovićevo -2 project in Novi Sad
Оn 5 October 2019, with the introduction of the contractor into works, commenced the implementation of Project for Clearance of Explosive Remnants of War from the Jugovićevo - 2 Site, No. 215/19, City of Novi Sad. On this occasion, one mechanical team for preparation of ground for clearance was introduced into works.
The Project was developed by the Mine Action Centre of the Republic of Serbia, which monitors the implementation and performs quality control over the works, while Belgrade based contractor Millennium Team, perform clearance works.
This Project has been financed by the investors SPV DUNAV d.o.o. and SPV TISA d.o.o., within the implementation of the Project of Construction of Apartments for Members of Security Forces in Novi Sad
Clearance of ERW from this site will eliminate the danger that these devices pose to workers performing construction and earthworks related to the construction of residential buildings, as well as to future residents of these residential buildings.
