US INDEPENDENCE DAY RECEPTION
On June 29, 2023, at the invitation of US Ambassador to Belgrade, H.E. Mr Christopher Hill, SMAC Director, Mr Bojan Glamočlija, attended the reception at the Ambassador's residence on the occasion of Independence Day - the national holiday of the United States of America, which is celebrated on July 4.
The reception was attended by President of the Republic of Serbia, Mr Aleksandar Vučić, as well as representatives of political, diplomatic, cultural and public life in the Republic of Serbia.
The reception was an opportunity for the SMAC Director to brief the US Ambassador about the joint results in the field of demining and mine action in the previous year and to thank for the continued support and assistance that the US provide to Serbia in solving problems related to mines and explosive remnants of war in our country and expressed hope for the continuation of successful cooperation in the forthcoming period.
