Meeting with representatives of GICHD Information Management Division
During the week, 19.06-23.06.2023, in which the Intersessional Meetings of the States Parties to the AP Mine Ban Convention and the 26th International Meeting of Mine Action National Directors and United Nations Advisers (NDM-UN26) were held in Geneva, representatives of SMAC met with representatives of the Information Management Division of the Geneva International Center for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD).
The meeting was held in the premises of the GICHD, on June 21, 2023.
During the meeting, so far results in the implementation of IMSMA Core in the Republic of Serbia were analyzed, first of all, related to the assessment of needs and the gathering of all potential users of the system, as well as participation in training on the use of IMSMA Core.
The next steps that are needed in order to test and activate the system were agreed upon, and the choice of hosting options discussed.
