QUALITY CONTROL OF THE EXPLOSIVE REMAINS OF WAR CLEANING PROJECT ON THE SOUTHWEST SERBIA GAS PIPELINE ROUTE
On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, the Mine Action Center of the Republic of Serbia carried out a quality control of the works in the first phase of the Project for the clearance of explosive remnants of war on the route of the Southwestern Serbia gas pipeline, number 0275/22, at the location of Sjenica, where the operator is "Millenium team".
The area of the project where the quality control was conducted is 135,000 m², while the quality control was performed by manual method with metal detectors, random sampling in accordance with the Project developed by the Mine Action Centre, and according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and IMAS.
By checking the samples, it was determined that there are no missed signals indicating a critical non-conformity defined by the Project.
On that occasion, after the necessary checks and controls in the first phase, the representatives of the Mine Action Centre introduced the contractor "Millennium team" to the work in phases II and III of the project, in accordance with the Project for the clearance of explosive remnants of war on the route of the Southwestern Serbia gas pipeline, number 0275/22.
