COURSE ON QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AT SMAC
In the organization of the Norwegian People’s Aid, in the period from May 22 to 26, 2023, in Belgrade, at the SMAC, a course on quality management in the field of demining and mine action is being held.
SMAC Director, Mr Bojan Glamočlija, welcomed NPA Bosnia and Herzegovina Program Manager, Ms Valerie Warmington, NPA instructors and traineess, using the opportunity to familiarize all the present with the work of the SMAC, as well as with the current situation in the Republic of Serbia in relation to mine action.
Fourteen trainees from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense and the company Jugoimport SDPR are attending the course.
The course is implemented within the framework of the Norwegian People's Aid project that improves the quality management systems of national mine action authorities in the Western Balkans, which is financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and includes theoretical and practical training on topics including strategic planning, project management, risk management, monitoring and evaluation.
