Visit of international EOD experts from "DRAKON GROUP"
On 18 april 2023, director of the Mine Action Centre, Mr. Bojan Glamočlija, met with the representatives of the "DRAKON" company, in the premises of the Mine Action Centre.
The company "DRAKON", in accordance with IMAS standards, implements training in the field of mine action with a focus on EOD training and training in the recognition and removal of improvised explosive devices (IEDD).
At the meeting, the director of the Center informed the guests about the current situation regarding the contamination of explosive remnants of war on the territory of the Republic of Serbia, as well as the needs and challenges of our country in the field of mine action.
Also, on this occasion, representatives of the company "DRAKON" visited the classroom of the Мine Action Centre, with a training ground for deminers in Grocka, where several international trainings in the field of mine action were held in the previous period.
During the visit, possible directions of cooperation between the two sides in the field of mine action were discussed.
