SMAC attended 5th national conference on Digitization as a way out of gray economy
On March 15, 2023, at the invitation of the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED), representatives of SMAC attended the 5th national conference on Digitization as a way out of grey economy.
The conference was held at the Palace of Serbia, organized by the Government of the Republic of Serbia - Coordinating Body for Suppression of the Gray Economy, in cooperation with the National Initiative for Cashless Payments "Better Way". Among the speakers were Minister of Finance Siniša Mali, Vice Governor Dragana Stanić, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, H.E. Anke Konrad, directors of company of Visa and Mastercard, etc.
On this occasion, the key results of the joint fight against the gray economy and further priorities and the program of the Government of Serbia in this area were presented, with a special focus on digitization and electronic payments.
Ministry of Finance, Visa and Mastercard companies, GIZ, NALED announced launching of a POS program to support electronic payments.
