Quality Control on ERW Risk Reduction Project on the Site Designated for the Reconstruction and Modernization of the Niš – Brestovac Railway Section
On December 12, 2022, as a follow up activity of the implementation of ERW Risk Reduction Project on the Site Designated for the Reconstruction and Modernization of the Niš – Brestovac Railway Section, SMAC carried out the control of part of the works according to the Part 2 of the Project, namely the control of the part of the works according to Phase 2.
During the project implementation, underwater demining team found 2 artillery shells.
The Contractor continues the works in coordination with SMAC.
As a reminder, upon completion of ERW risk reduction works, the danger posed by ERW to people and the environment will be eliminated.
In addition, it will contribute to increasing the safety of construction workers and creating opportunities for the safe use of the site for the reconstruction and modernization of the Niš - Brestovac railway section.
