QUALITY CONTROL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROJECT FOR CLEARANCE THE SURFACE OF EXPLOSIVE REMNANTS OF WAR ON THE SECTION 4, ON THE PART OF THE HIGHWAY E-763 PRELJINA - POŽEGA
On August the 19th, Mine Action Centre of Republic of Serbia, as a follow up activity of the implementation of the ERW Clearance Project for Section 4, on the part of highway Е-763 Preljina - Požega, No. 0267/22, conducted quality control of the works in accordance with Phase 4 of the Project, which include the use of borehole method.
The Borehole method is used to locate underground anomalies, and is carried out before the start of construction work to ensure that all holes in the area are safe for further use.
Special probes are used to record and collect data, which are lowered vertically into previously prepared holes, while the data is constantly read until the entire depth of the hole is passed.
On this occasion, the control did not establish any critical errors defined by this Project.
The Contractor continues the works in coordination with SMAC.
We remind, that after clearance these surfaces from ERW, the danger they pose for the construction of Section 4, on the part of highway E-763 Preljina - Požega, will be eliminated.
