US EMBASSY JULY 4TH RECEPTION
On June 30, 2022, US Ambassador to Serbia, H.E. Mr Christopher Hill, organized a reception on the occasion of Independence Day - the national holiday of the United States of America, which is celebrated on July 4th.
The reception was attended by SMAC Director, Mr Bojan Glamočlija, as well as representatives of political, diplomatic, cultural and public life in the Republic of Serbia.
Given that Ambassador Hill took office three months ago, the SMAC Director firstly welcomed Mr Hill to Serbia and wished him the best of success in his future work.
In addition, SMAC Director thanked for the continued support and assistance the US has been providing Serbia in the area of mine action, i.e. solving problems related to landmines and explosive remnants of war in Serbia, and expressed the hope to deepen cooperation and achieve concrete and visible results for both sides, also, in the forthcoming period.
