PARTICIPATION AT 25TH INTERNATIONAL MEETING OF MINE ACTION NATIONAL DIRECTORS AND UNITED NATIONS ADVISORS IN GENEVA
In the period 23-24 June 2022, at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) premises in Geneva, representatives of the Mine Action Centre of the Republic of Serbia participated at the 25th International Meeting of Mine Action National Directors and United Nations Advisors.
The meeting was organized by the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) and the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD).
The theme of this year’s meeting was: “Safe Ground, Safe Steps, Safe Home”.
Mine action stakeholders – mine action national directors, representatives of international humanitarian organizations, as well as donors, had the opportunity to present the achieved results and the challenges and opportunities they are facing, as well as to exchange experiences in the previous period and highlight the importance of innovations in mine action.
