Found ERW on ERW Clearance Project for the Expressway - Ib of the state Road No. 21, Novi Sad - Ruma ,,Fruška Gora Corridor” Site
On the ERW Clearance Project for the Expressway - Ib of the state Road No. 21, Novi Sad – Ruma, “Fruška Gora Corridor” Site, Nо. 0252/21, during ERW clearance operations, 155 mm and 100 mm artillery shells were found.
Engaged contractor Millennium Team ltd. found the mentioned explosive remnants of war using the borehole method.
As a reminder, the borehole method is intended for locating underground anomalies, using special probes, and is carried out before the start of construction work to ensure that all holes in the area are safe for further use.
The implementation of the project Fruška Gora Corridor, No. 0252/21, will further contribute to the increase of safety of people and environment, creating opportunities for safe land use and it will eliminate the danger that ERW pose for the construction of this particular road.
