VISIT OF REPRESENTATIVE OF DIGGER DTR FOUNDATION
On the 10th January, 2022, in the premises of the Serbian Mine Action Centre, and with the participation of representatives of the Serbian Ministry of Defence, a meeting was held with a representative of Swiss based foundadion DIGGER DTR, which produces demining vehicles and equipment.
On this occasion, Mr Umberto Draghi, presented the D-250 mechanical mine clearance vehicle, as well as the SMART system that involves mine detection dogs. Director of SMAC, Mr Bojan Glamočlija pointed out the current situation regarding ERW in the Republic of Serbia, the problems and challenges that Serbia is facing in the field of mine action.
After the meeting, the representative of DIGGER DTR visited expanded business facilities of the SMAC, i.e. teaching facilities with training ground and site, in Grocka.
