REGIONAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT COURSE COMPLETED
On December 1st 2021 in Belgrade, the Regional Quality Management Course in the Area of Mine Action was completed after which internationally recognized certificates were handed to the trainees.
The Geneva International Center for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD), organized this training in cooperation with the Serbian Mine Action Centre, in the period from 24 November – 1 December 2021, in Belgrade.
Among the trainees were representatives of the Ministry of Interior – Sector for Emergency Management, member of the Belgrade Police Brigade, representatives of the Ministry of Defense, SMAC, BHMAC, representatives of domestic demining companies (PMC Engineering, Millennium Team ltd.), as well as representatives of international demining organizations (HALO Trust, IN Demining, Mine Detection Dog Center in BiH, Trotil ltd., Norwegian People's Aid).
The trainers were eminent instructors from the GICHD.
Skills have been acquired through individual and team tasks, through theoretical and practical lectures.
The training will contribute to the strengthening of capacities in this field in the Republic of Serbia, as well as in the region.
