SMAC Director Meets Angolan Ambassador to Serbia

Оn December 1st 2021, SMAC Director, Mr Bojan Glamočlija met with Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Mr Alcino dos Prazeres Izata Francisco da CONCEIÇÃO, to discuss possible directions of cooperation in the field of humanitarian demining and mine action.

The SMAC Director pointed out in the presentation the experience and knowledge gained in the previous period during the implementation of demining and ERW clearance projects, and the way that SMAC can support Angola in solving the mine problem it remains, and thus contributing to the improvement of bilateral relations between Serbia and Angola.

It has been agreed to strengthen cooperation, among other things, on the issue of deminer training, as well as training related to explosive ordnance risk education (EORE), given that since 2020 SMAC has expanded its business capacities and established teaching premises with a training site and ground, in Grocka, where international training courses have already been held.
