Place and Role of SMAC Presentation at 4th International Conference оn Mine Clearance in Moscow
On the 27th May 2021, Director of the Serbian Mine Action Centre, Mr Bojan Glamočlija, at the ongoing 4th International Conference оn Mine Clearance in Moscow, gave a presentation entitled "The Place and Role of the Serbian Mine Action Centre".
On this occasion, he presented to the participants the activities of SMAC regarding solving problems related to the remaining areas contaminated with mines and explosive remnants of war in the Republic of Serbia, with special emphasis on the development of our training capacities for conducting a wide range of mine action training courses and development of National Mine Action Standards based on the International Mine Action Standards (IMAS).
On the margins of the Conference, SMAC Director had bilateral meetings, among others, with representatives of the Swiss Foundation for Mine Action (FSD), Geneva International Center for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD), UN Mine Action Service (UNMAS).
