Mееting with Mayor of Vranje
On the 1st April 2021, in the premises of the City Administration of the City of Vranje, SMAC Director, Mr Bojan Glamočlija, met with Mayor Dr Slobodan Milenković, as well as the representative of the City Emergency Management Headquarters and the representative of the Sector for Emergency Management, in order to discuss the explosive remnants of war (ERW) related problem in the territory of this city.
Considering the implementation of current and future infrastructure projects of public interest, which include land clearance and construction, relocation or reconstruction of infrastructure facilities, construction of business - residential and other premises, all of which involving construction works with excavation, it has been underlined that it is necessary for relevant authorities to cooperate on creating conditions for safe implementation of works and undertaking appropriate measures from the aspect of protection against ERW.
