Meeting with Bujanovac and Preševo

On the 23rd February 2021, in the premises of the Municipality of Bujanovac, Serbian Mine Action Centre Director, Mr Bojan Glamočlija met with the Mayor of Bujanovac, Mr Nagip Arifi and a representative of the Emergency Management Headquarters of the Municipality of Bujanovac, Mr Ali Aslani, in order to continue successful cooperation on solving the problem related to explosive remnants of war in the territory of this Municipality.
The implementation of several demining and cluster munition clearance projects in this year has been announced, one of which will be financed by the Government of Serbia funds increased by the donation from the Republic of Korea through ITF Enhancing Human Security, while other projects, also through ITF, will be financed by the US donation.
On the same day, SMAC represntatives met with the President of the Local Community of Ilince in Preševo and Head of the Emergency Management Defense and Preparation Service, Mr Nedžmedin Ahmadi, to visit some of the sites in this Municipality, too.
