During their stay, they visited the expanded business facilities, namely teaching premises with a training ground and site for pyrotechnicians in Grocka, within the SMAC, where recently, for the first time in the Republic of Serbia, the SMAC conducted EOD-Level 1 training course, fully in compliance with the International Mine Action Standards (IMAS).

It was concluded that the GICHD could provide support to the SMAC in the development of national mine action standards, training, information management, as well as strengthening of regional cooperation.
