Commencement of Demining Project of the part of transmission line route in Bujanovac
On July 29, 2019, commenced the implementation of Demining Project of the part of the route of transmission line 1140/2 Power Substation Bujanovac-Power Substation Berivojce, the Municipality of Bujanovac, totaling 18,410 sqm.
The project has been developed by the Mine Action Centre of the Republic of Serbia, which will supervise the project implementation and conduct quality control of the works. Contractor is "PMC Engineering”, Belgrade.
The project has been financed by the funds provided by the Joint Stock Company “Elektromreža Srbije” – Transmission system maintenance division, Belgrade.
Demining of the location will contribute to an increase of safety of employees of “Elektromreža Srbije” and to provision of conditions for safe maintenance of the part of the route of the transmission line. Furthermore, it will contribute to an increase of safety of local population, as well as to protection of environment and to protection against fire.
