Intersessional Meeting of the States Parties to the Ottawa Convention Held in Geneva

The Intersessional Meeting of the States Parties to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Antipersonnel Mines and on their Destruction (Ottawa Convention), as well as the First Preparatory Meeting of the Fourth Review Conference to be held in November 2019, in Oslo, took place in Geneva, from 22 to 24 May 2019, in the year marking 20 years of the entry into force of the Ottawa Convention.

On this occasion, the representative of the Mine Action Center of the Republic of Serbia, in cooperation with the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the UN in Geneva, introduced the participants to the current mine situation in the territory of the Republic of Serbia, and the efforts undertaken by our country in fulfilling its remaining obligations under Article 5 of the Convention.
