QUALITY CONTROL ON ERW CLEARANCE PROJECT AT THE SITE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A BRIDGE OVER THE DANUBE RIVER AS PART OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE BYPASS AROUND NOVI SAD
On 21.11.2022., Mine Action Centre performed quality control on the "Project for clearing explosive remnants of war at the site for the construction of a bridge over the Danube River as part of the construction of the bypass around Novi Sad", number 0276/22. The quality control was carried out in accordance with Part I (phase 4 of the Project), which is divided into four phases and refers to the projected area located on the land area near the Danube River at the place where the bridge will be built.
During quality control, and after analyzing the recorded data, no anomalies were found that correspond to the "critical error" criterion, which is defined by the Project.
We remind, the "Borehole" method is used to locate underground anomalies, and it is carried out before the start of construction works to ensure that all boreholes in the subject area are safe for further use.
After the inspection, the contractor continued the work in coordination with the Mine Action Centre.
