SMAC participation in IMAS and Conformance Training Course in Spiez, Switzerland
Оn November 7, 2022, in Spiez, Switzerland, organized by the Geneva International Center for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) and the Government of Switzerland, the 86th Partnership for Peace Training Course on International Mine Action Standards (IMAS) and Conformance began.
The training will last until November 11, and it is envisaged that the trainees gain knowledge about mine action standards - international and national, mine action pillars, which include, among others, land release and residual contamination, stockpile destruction, victim assistance, explosive ordnance risk education.
Also, the topics of mine action management and engaging with EO affected communities will be addressed.
The lecturers are eminent instructors from the GICHD.
