ERW RISK EDUCATION TRAINING OF TRAINERS COURSE
In the period from April 18 to 19th, 2022, the Serbian Mine Action Centre conducted ERW risk education training of trainers course for employees of the HBIS GROUP Serbia Iron&Steel ltd. Belgrade, as well as for employees of companies "Konstruktel" ltd. Belgrade and “Comal group“ ltd. Belgrade.
The 2-day training course was conducted according to the program and plan developed in accordance with International Mine Action Standards (IMAS) and verified by the Agency for Qualifications of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, with accredited instructors from SMA. It was held in the expanded business capacities, i.e. teaching premises with a training ground and a site for the training of deminers, within the SMAC in Grocka.
Skills have been acquired through individual and team tasks, on theoretical and practical classes.
The participants of the training have been handed certificates confirming successful education.
This type of training has been carried out in the Republic of Serbia for the first time with the aim of raising awareness for the need of continuous education of citizens about the hazards of explosive remnants of war.
Implementation of training presents realization of the activities from the Agreement on Cooperation signed between the Public Company Jugoimport – SDPR, SMAC and PMC Engineering ltd. Belgrade.
